Our restaurant came to life thanks to Cristina -the chef - and her passion passed on to her by her grandmothers and those authentic scents and flavours that only homemade and traditional cuisine can provide. This passion has brought Cristina to work in many restaurants in Ancona, acquiring years of professional experience. Thus was born her dream to open her own business, combining tradition and innovation in a perfect fusion.
La Tana del Polpo becomes the perfect place for Cristina, because it is located a few steps from the sea, offering at km0 all those fish products that the Adriatic has to give. Our seafood restaurant is located in the historic center of Ancona, the beating heart of the region's capital city.
